Congratulations and thanks to the UF Swing Club for putting on an excellent event in the Gainesville Lindy Exchange.
This Friday evening from 6:30 to 7:30 Kay Picart teaches Ballroom Waltz. This will be her last class for a while due to finals, so make the most of it.
Saturday night Tango Pavadita holds a lovely milonga. There is also a Contra dance at the Boltin Center this Saturday night.
Sunday morning is the monthly Vintage Waltz Brunch.
Lindy Swing Dancing 101 last class is this Sunday night from 6 to 7 pm. Beginners are still welcome to join us.
On Sunday from 7 to 9:30 pm come out for Lindy Swing and Hustle!. The more you dance the more you save program is still going on. If you went to any organized dancing during the prior week, come on Sunday night for just $5. Go to any two organized dancing programs and come on Sunday night for free.
On Sunday November 27 help our dozen new swing dancers celebrate their graduation from Swing 101. Give them their swing party initiation. Welcome them to Gainesville's swing dance community at the Thanksgiving Swinging Soul Dance and Graduation Party. There will be a lesson at 6 and dancing from 7 to 9:30. There will be a mix of mostly slower music suitable for all types of swing. Whatever your swing background, you will be able to dance.
