Hello Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,
Kay Picart teaches Rumba and Bolero tonight at 6:30 at 308 West.
UF Tango meets after Kay's class. UF Swing is on break.
Swing and Sway meets this Friday at the Boltin Center.
Maria Alvarez has her monthly dance on Saturday night.
Tango Pavadita has a milonga this and every Saturday night for the rest of December, including Christmas Eve and New Years.
Swing and Hustle is on Sundays. This week Swing 101-A is from 6 to 7. From 7 to 8:30 we are learning how to turn our Lindy and East Coast Swing into West Coast Swing, so we can dance at Josh's parties. Hustle is from 8:30 to 9:30.
You are welcome to drop in on Sunday night and you do not need a partner. Class sizes have been small lately, so if you want personal attention, this is a great time to come. You can work on things particular to you. If you let me know you are coming, I can try to make sure we have a good gender balance. Otherwise, if it matters to you, bring someone of the opposite gender.
Richard's East Coast Swing classes are on Tuesdays in December.
Essie's last West Coast Swing class in December is next Wednesday December 14. Come out and support her. The following Wednesday December 21 Josh is holding a free West Coast Swing dance.
I am looking into running a Swing dance later this month, possibly Thursday December 29 with a mix of East Coast, West Coast, Lindy. Alternatively, I may do a swing dance on January 1. If you think you could make it either of these, let me know.
