Two big events this weekend.
Saturday night is the 2nd Annual Larry G. Shahboz Memorial Summer Dance.
Mimi Santapa is in Gainesville for a Tango workshop.

Here is something you do not hear every day. My dance session was canceled because of a tornado. Took me an hour and a half to drive 15 miles and they did not even have the courtesy to leave a note. They did leave a drunk, who did have the courtesy to tell me what had happened. Everything was dark except for car headlights going by, no building lights, no street lights. The front door window was missing, the canvas roof over the patio was in tatters. The place looked like it had been hit by a ... tornado. (I made a funny.)
