Was dancing the woman's part at Richard's West Coast Swing class tonight.
The guy I was dancing with told me I did not have enough frame and to push harder.
I do not like to dance that way, so I started to argue with him.
One of the things I regularly tell people is, "the man is always right, as long as he is not hurting you. The woman's job is to follow and make whatever the man does work."
The man can tell the woman what he needs her to do to make the dance work, but the woman should not tell the man what to do.
Think this creates the best social dynamic.
So I caught myself and told him I would try to push more, but it did not go well, because my initial reaction created a little emotional tension.
After the break, when I rotated to him again, I told him, "Let's see if I can do better this time."
This time it went real well and I got a compliment on my following, no doubt because of my seductive brown eyes.
