My mother and I went to the Gainesville downtown art fair last weekend. She is the only one willing to be seen with me in my hat. Her and my nephew, who I have convinced that I am the coolest guy in the world because of the hat.
Ran into Jackie with her son. Their hats were pretty bad.
Ran into a woman who I have dinner with every Shabbat. There are only about 8 of us at synagogue sitting around a table, so it is not like she does not know me, but she did not recognize me in my hat and glasses. I had to take them off before she figured out who I was.
The art was impressive.
My mother commented, "it is amazing there can be so much art work without it being repetitive."
For the most part, each person's work was unique, and it should be. Each person is unique. That is the point of art, whether painting, pottery or dancing, isn't it?
Art is expressing what is inside outside.
