This newsletter is out early to remind you of Josh's West Coast Swing dance lessons party tonight Wednesday at the Eagles.
The UF Swing Club is not in session Friday.
There is no Tango milonga Saturday night, but you have other good options this weekend. No need to go to any other city.
Come out for a $5 Friday night Tango milonga at 9 pm at 308 West hosted by UF Tango Club. This is dancing only, no class. The community is encouraged to attend.
Come out Saturday night for our monthly Swinging Soul Dance Party at 308 West. There will be an easy Swing lesson from 7:30 to 8:30 on giving the woman the freedom to improvise. Dancing starts at 8:30. Bring refreshments if you like.

Sunday join our Slow Lindy class. Lindy is the foundation of all swing dance and the most versatile. Learn Lindy so you can dance to all the swing music. Slow Lindy is what my parents generation danced to. Master the Lindy basics and raise your level in all your swing dancing. After Lindy, stay for Hustle, if you dare, no extra charge.
You can still join the Free introductory Clogging Classes with Kelli for 3 more Sundays May 8, 15 and 22 from 4 to 5.
Friday evening May 13 you have two special classes to improve your ballroom dance skills with US Open Champion Dr. Caroline (Kay) Picart. American Show Tango from 5:30 to 6:30 and Bolero form 6:30 to 7:30. These are for intermediate to advanced dancers, though you do not need experience in these dances, you should know how to dance. Kay will provide multiple levels of instruction so you will be able to keep up and be challenged at whatever your level. $12 per person per class if you sign up before May 8. $15 per class thereafter. If you want to acquire the skill of looking like a ballroom dancer, take advantage of this opportunity.
Two new novice series starting up in June, both offered thru Santa Fe College. These are perfect for your friends that have not danced before, or you, if you want a class that is super slow and easy starting with the simplest basics: (a) Social Dancing for People with Two Left Feet and (b) Beginner Israeli Folk Dancing. Both guaranteed to make you feel comfortable dancing.
