May we have this dance? UF HealthStreet is returning to Bo Diddley Plaza in downtown Gainesville.
This free community event aims to bring our diverse communities together through arts, while encouraging physical activity and spreading the word about health research and resources available to families in our community.
Local dance performers will be offering dance sessions on Bo Diddley's stage, including popular styles such as West African, Nia, Hip Hop, Break Dance, and more.
Throughout the evening, UF HealthStreet, along with various community and University of Florida organizations, will be providing health education, screenings and wellness resources.
This community celebration will also include delicious food from local food trucks, games, massages and family fun activities. Come and dance the evening away with us!
Although the event is free, we appreciate entry donations, including clothing and toiletry items! Night of Dance aims to raise funds for the UF HealthStreet program to continue to improve the health of our community.
