Lisa Greenleaf has been treating dancers across the country to her high spirited, witty calling for many years, and is known for precise walk-throughs of zesty and flowing dances. Whether she is presenting cool contras, hot squares, or focused callers' workshops, Lisa engages the crowd with her humor and community spirit.

Lisa Greenleaf and the Latter Day Lizards are ready to blow your socks off.

Boston based caller extraordinaire, Lisa Greenleaf, teams up with New England's own:

* Dave Langford - fiddle/guitar;
* Bill Tomczak - clarinet/saxophone/banjo uke/dumbek; and
* Kate Barnes - piano/guitar/flute/harmonica.

To make the music that makes you slither.

Who are these guys?

The Latter Day Lizards are a New England-based dance band featuring a trio of musicians fervent with the desire and talent to ignite flames under dancing feet. With a wide ranging and hopelessly eclectic repertoire including everything from Irish and Scottish traditional jigs and reels to Balkan, blues and swing tunes (often juxtaposed next to each other) the Latter Day Lizards bring excellent musicianship, playfulness, drama and unrelentingly infectious rhythm to their dance performances. With Kate Barnes on piano, guitar and flute, Bill Tomczak on clarinet, sax and drum and Dave Langford on guitar and fiddle, they blend swing, rock-and-roll and jazz influences with traditional foot-stomping dance music to make an innovative, spontaneous and rhythmically inflammatory sound.

Special 2-day Mini-weekend contra dance event at the Boltin Center - 3 Contra Dances in 2 days

Dances can be attended, and paid for, individually at the door.
There is a discount if you pay for all 3, see pricing below.
