Do you want to become a great lead or follow as an On1 salsa dancer?
FUNON100 is back. This 5 week course will ingrain the fundamentals of On1 salsa, musicality, and the conversation of dance.
Leads will learn how to connect and clearly lead their follow by keeping time, dancing to the music, confidently combining moves by committing the basics to muscle memory.
Follows will learn how to maintain connection and communication, appropriate tension, controlling their own body with their steps, and allowing the lead to direct the dance.
Both lead and follow will learn how to connect, communicate, and read their partner.
Participants are encouraged to social dance with all students and instructors for feedback and to practice their new skills. Participants will be expected to watch the homework assignments and practice footwork outside of class. You only get out what you are willing to put in.
Pre-registration is required by March 5th.
