Jazz Jam: For those who are musically inclined, please join us for the Pre-Sip Jazz Jam starting at 6 pm.
No partner or experience needed.
Relax, have a drink, and dip your toes into swing dancing. We welcome beginners and experienced dancers, come share some time with friends.

Thursdays
Ongoing Thursdays, 7:30-10:30 pm. Gainesville Swing Dancing is proud to announce that we have secured a downtown Gainesville venue for our events.
Starting September 21st, every Thursday evening from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM, you can find us at the Rosa B Williams Center. We'll kick off the night with a one-hour beginner lesson, followed by two hours of social dancing in a beautiful, air-conditioned hardwood dance hall.
We cannot wait to hit the dance floor with all of you and look forward to seeing you at our new venue on September 21st.

This event will cost $5 to help support the club and bring you more swing dancing events in Gainesville. There will be a friendly beginner lesson will to help you get into the swing of things. You may come alone or with a group of friends. Coming with a dance partner is not necessary and no prior dance experience is required.

This Spring, we will feature two levels of classes taught by Zack Buchillon, as well as an open practice hour.

4:00 - 5:00 Beginner Level Lindy Lesson
5:00 - 6:00 Open Practice Hour
Prices
Higher Level - $10 per lesson, $75 full semester
Beginner Level - $5 per lesson, $30 full semester

Fri 24 Jan 2020, 8:30-11:30 pm. Get excited. Florida Swing Dancing Club invites you to join us again Friday, January 24 at the Reitz Union Dance Studios for some swing dancing. This event is completely free. You may come alone or with a group of friends. Coming with a dance partner is not necessary and no prior dance experience is required.
Lessons start at 8:30 pm and the social dance will start at 9:30 pm and end at 11:30 pm.
Dances studios are located on the lower level (LL) of the Reitz Student Union. If you are off campus you can park in the Reitz Union Parking Garage or surrounding lots, it is free after 4:30 pm! No parking decal required.
