Jazz Jam: For those who are musically inclined, please join us for the Pre-Sip Jazz Jam starting at 6 pm.
No partner or experience needed.
Relax, have a drink, and dip your toes into swing dancing. We welcome beginners and experienced dancers, come share some time with friends.
While this event is free, please support the Bull who is generously hosting and providing a welcoming space for dancing.

Thursdays
Ongoing Thursdays, 7:30-10:30 pm. Gainesville Swing Dancing is proud to announce that we have secured a downtown Gainesville venue for our events.
Starting September 21st, every Thursday evening from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM, you can find us at the Rosa B Williams Center. We'll kick off the night with a one-hour beginner lesson, followed by two hours of social dancing in a beautiful, air-conditioned hardwood dance hall.
We cannot wait to hit the dance floor with all of you and look forward to seeing you at our new venue on September 21st.

Come learn how to dance Lindy Hop and dance the night away to swing music. No dance partner or previous dance experience is required, and this event is open to all members of the Gainesville community. Here are the details:

Come join us for an afternoon of lindy in Depot Park. Sundeep and I will be be giving an in depth lindy workshop. The theme of the workshop will be high-tension dancing. We will be covering concepts like stretch, compression and redirection. We will be showing you all some cool ideas that you will not want to miss and are sure to make your dancing POP.
There is no charge but if you wanna give us 10 bucks for our trouble that would be cool.
Unless you absolutely cannot make it, we Would prefer that you come to both sessions because we will be covering basics as they relate to creating more tension.

Ready to level up your Lindy Hop from 6-count to 8-count? If you've taken at least 1-3 Lindy Hop lessons, then this lesson series is the one for you!! We'll explore basic 8-count moves, discuss the difference between 6-count and 8-count, and culminate with Lindy Hop's most iconic move: the swingout.
