Mon 4 Nov, 6:30 pm. Gator Salsa Club is back for the Summer! We teach FREE classes in LA and Casino style salsa as well as Bachata! All levels of dancers are welcome, even if you've never set foot on the dance floor. So bring your friends and some water because all are welcome!
You are not required to sign up or bring a partner.

Come out to learn different styles of Kizomba the right way from real instructors, and stay to party and enjoy social dancing with top local Kizomba DJ's Brown Sugar and Katatonik (and a delicious island cocktail or two from Bahama Breeze Island Grille).
All ages and levels are welcome and basics will be taught each week, so whether you are a Kizomba mazter or have never heard of this sexy style of dance from the islands, come by for what is sure to be a fiesta.

Tue 12 Nov, 6-7:30 pm. Join Gator Salsa Club (GSC) for an hour of collaborative discussion on respect, comfort, and enjoyment while social dancing in the Gainesville salsa scene. This workshop is part of a broader GSC initiative that began with the "Lead-follow dynamics" survey that many of you participated in--68 people kindly shared their thoughts on these topics. The workshop will have several components:
- A PowerPoint presentation (Will Boose and Gianna Ramos) that reviews survey results and poses questions to the audience based on data and participant quotes.
- Group discussion and feedback on some proposed practices that could be incorporated into classes, socials, etc.

Sat 16 Nov, 10:30-2:30 am. Gator Salsa Club presents our 10th anniversary Xtravaganza at the ElderCare of Alachua County.
Come and celebrate 10 years of Gator Salsa Club with us for a day of workshops in the morning and social dancing in the evening, which will consist of salsa, bachata, kizomba, and more by DJ-Elias Mambito.
All workshops are free for everyone.
**Location: RION BALLROOM located in the REITZ UNION on 655 Reitz Union Dr, Gainesville Fl 32611. Parking will be in the in the parking garage (on the weekends, it is free). If you would like to park elsewhere other parking spots will be in the lot in front of the UF Bookstore located on 1900 Museum Rd, Gainesville, FL 32611.
