We will do individual exercises and partner activities to understand this improvisational dance! We will explore various concepts of connection (to oneself, to the music, to the dance partner, to the dance floor, to other social dancers).
Parking is available on campus after 5 pm.

Starting September 21st, every Thursday evening from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM, you can find us at the Rosa B Williams Center. We'll kick off the night with a one-hour beginner lesson, followed by two hours of social dancing in a beautiful, air-conditioned hardwood dance hall.

Want to learn tango? Come join the UF Argentine Tango Club for a free beginner tango class. Feel free to join even if you have never danced tango before, there are teachers for whatever level you might be.
Who: Everyone can come. The beginner class is geared for people who have never danced before or who want to practice the basics. The intermediate class is for those who have been to at least some classes and is for you if you feel ready and confident enough to learn some new steps. The advanced class is for those who have been dancing for a long while now and will feature more complicated steps, so ask a teacher to make sure you are experienced enough for this level.

Tue 29 Aug 2017, 7:30-9:30 pm. We offer two hours of group classes each Tuesday and Thursday. All are welcome to join in for group classes, no partner is needed. Classes are divided into three levels for Salsa: Beginner, Intermediate A and Intermediate B, and two levels for Bachata: Beginner and Intermediate. A single instructor teaches each level, and students rotate partners throughout the class.

Tuesday 7:30-8:30 pm and 8:30-9:30 pm
Thursday 8:30-9:30 pm
Bachata Class:
