We will do individual exercises and partner activities to understand this improvisational dance! We will explore various concepts of connection (to oneself, to the music, to the dance partner, to the dance floor, to other social dancers).
Parking is available on campus after 5 pm.

Starting September 21st, every Thursday evening from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM, you can find us at the Rosa B Williams Center. We'll kick off the night with a one-hour beginner lesson, followed by two hours of social dancing in a beautiful, air-conditioned hardwood dance hall.

As usual, wrapped refreshments and drinks available but feel free to bring your own snacks as well.
Limited seating. You must RSVP. There is a limit of only 35 people. Tables and seating have been reconfigured.
Masks are required to be worn when dancing. We will be taking temperatures when you arrive. Anyone with a temp over 100.4 will not be allowed to attend. This Sunday morning we bring you the Dance Camp popular guests Neige Christenson leading a Contact Improv-Inspired warm up with live music by award-winning cellist Stephen Katz. Followed by ecstatic musical wave of DJ's Luminus & Journey Weaver.
Join us for this unique experience and help raise funds for Camp Timber Trails, a beautiful 417-acre former girl scout camp in Tolland, MA. It is the homeplace of Dance New England's Dance Camp, as well as HeARTbeat Collective's Unifier Festival. Let me know what you would like to do, such as other levels of instruction, other dances, other formats for the dance sessions or dancing on other days or times.
The session is aimed at Beginner Intermediate level dancers. You do not need to be experienced in these particular dances. You should have some dance experience.
If you are a Novice dancer, let me know so we can schedule sessions for you and other Novice dancers.

Tue 28 Jul 2020, 7-8 pm. Starting with basics. Must wear a mask when dancing. Social distancing will be followed between couples. Cost is $24/couple per class. Limit of 8 couples.
As usual, wrapped refreshments and drinks available but feel free to bring your own snacks as well.
You must RSVP.
Masks are required to be worn when dancing. We will be taking temperatures when you arrive. Anyone with a temp over 100.4 will not be allowed to attend. You may not attend if you've been around anyone with covid-19 in the last 2 weeks. We do recommend continued washing and sanitizing of hands often.

Wearing mask is required when you come into the studio
Hand sanitization is required before/during/after the class. Hand sanitizer is available in the studio

Stepping in, dropping down, we move into the body, breath and sweat as a reset and resource. In times of great change we are asked for our dynamic embodiment. Ecstatic movement brings us home as our own leader and teacher. This is the dance makes waves as we turn turbulence to tranquility as a collective intention. This is our body prayer.
Thursday evening is a community collaborative bringing together guest facilitators and DJs sharing a blend of organic and electronic music to help us ground, express and explore.

Fri 31 Jul 2020, 6-9 pm. This Friday evening at 6 pm we will have the Gator BTW patio open for social distancing and live music from the wonderful Elio Piedra!
We will be asking all guests to maintain 6-foot distances from other parties and all tables will be spaced according to state and local guidelines. We will continue to follow all CDC, State, and local health guidelines to provide a safe dining experience for all.
