Her multi-cultural studies of art and spirituality has shaped her view of dance as a spiritual practice. She enjoys offering classes and workshops in Sacred Dance as a way to explore and honor the divine within all things.

Sat 5 Oct 2019, 1-2:30 pm. Experience what it feels like to move through space in response to gravity, momentum, and inertia.
This workshop will cover the foundations of contact improvisation. Contact improvisation is a partner-based movement practice involving connection, flow, rhythm, timing, supporting, and being supported. The goal is for dancers to become more attuned to their center and to the subtleties of touch.
Justin will share introductory contact points, supportive structures, and the process of push in pull in partner movement.
Come as you are, no experience or partner is necessary!

Sun 6 Oct 2019, 7:30 pm. We are super excited to announce that we will be in one of the new homes to ecstatic dance as the beloved energy/space of Aurora Healing Arts transforms into HOWL, The House of Waking Life, a creation by Brooke Rosen We are so excited.
Our first dance will be June 30th, 7:30 pm and will be facilitated by the lovely Angela Betancourt. Our dances will then go on every other Sunday from that date forth. Beginning Sept. 1st (fingers crossed), alternating weekends will be hosted by HOWL.
This dance will explore the 5 Rhythms of Ecstatic Dance. In this environment we will let go of judgment of ourselves and others, embrace whatever emotions arise, and feel free to move, shake and groove however our bodies choose.
