8:00 pm Contra Dance Workshop includes Waltz
$10 per person
Learn how to dance with a partner for new and experienced Contra dancers.
This is for everyone, including people who have never danced before.
You learn to dance gently, as light as a feather, without the use of force, with no pushing and pulling.
Learn to:
- Dance safely, respectfully, and comfortably
- Dance as one with your partner and the music
- Communicate clearly
- Improve your balance
- Make every dance a pleasure
You learn the principles of leading and following that apply to every dance. Get better each time you go dancing.
Be the smartest dancer in your group.
