Thursdays
Ongoing Thursdays, 6-9 pm. No dancing on March 28, April 4, 11, and 18 because I will be out of town and conflicts with scheduling at the location. Come out on Tuesday, April 16.
On April 25 we start a 4-week Beginner Series in Argentine Tango and Swing. The cost is $60 for new dancers for the series. Experienced dancers are encouraged to attend. The cost for those with experience is $10 per night.

Mon 4 Jul 2016, 5:45-7:30 pm. So many people are going to be out for July 4 that I think it will be better for us to join the English Country Dancers. English Country Dancing is easy and I think you will have a good time.
They dance near UF down the street from the school J. J. Finley.
English Country Dancing: Monday 7/04, 6:30-9:30 pm. Doors open at 6:30. 6:50 lesson. Dancing starts at 7. Called by Randy Thorpe. Bring light refreshments if you like. United Church of Gainesville, 1624 NW 5 Avenue Annette Merritt. $5, $3 Students. You can contribute $5 for the band.
We will not be dancing at the synagogue on July 4. Please let others know of the change in plans. Not everyone is on this email list.
We will meet again Thursday July 7 and Monday July 11.

Four week series in two awesomely fun dances. Lindy Style Swing is the most versatile of the partner dances and the mother of all swing dancing. We dance to the great music of the classic swing and jazz era as well as lots of newer music up to contemporary times. You dance at a comfortable speed. Lindy is a great dance for learning musicality and improvisation.
The second dance is the exhilarating Hustle. This is the dance that kept partner dancing alive during the 1970s and 1980s. Hustle inspired the cool moves you see in Salsa.
