Ongoing Wednesdays, 7:30-8:30 pm. This is a belly dance technique-oriented class that will be basic enough for all levels to get something out of it. Targeting balance, technique, sharpening hip movements, introducing new movements and combinations, working on posture. Including a short choreography on each class and adding improvisation as practice for fluidity and individual creativity purposes.

Course Requirements:
Enter this class with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and socialize with other dancers. If you do not have dance shoes, bring comfortable shoes. You can use any type of ballroom dance shoes; jazz, leather sole or shoes with suede soles.
Rationale:
Dancing should be fun and carefree. I am a passionate dancer, for me living does not exist without rhythm or moving one’s body. However, in terms of social dancing, often times new dancers get frustrated and stop dancing for various reasons. With that in mind, it's time to offer non dancers and the occasional danc ...
