We will be teaching a Balboa Series in the month of May for the intermediate lessons for the GSD swing dancing at the Rosa B on Thursdays.
This will be a 5 week beginner level Balboa Series (both pure Balboa and Bal-Swing).
Please no drop-ins unless this will be a refresher. If you need to miss a class during this series please discuss with the instructors.
No partner necessary as we will rotate during class.
Balboa is a smoother flow dance style compared to Lindyhop. For the most optimal Balboa dancing, we recommend wearing shoes that slide or are smooth on the bottom.
The Balboa, also known as Bal is a swing dance that originated in Southern California during the 1920s and enjoyed huge popularity during the 1930s and 1940s.
