Thu 2 Jun, 6-8 pm. 6:00 to 7:00 pm Beginning Argentine Tango.
7:10 to 8:10 pm Beginning West Coast Swing.
These classes cater to new dancers, that is those people who have never danced before. These are social dance classes. The focus is on having fun, while you learn to dance with a partner. You build your confidence in a non-judgmental atmosphere. No one tells anyone else what to do.
Safety comes first. These are gentle classes. There is no pushing and no pulling. Everyone does their own dancing.
No experienced needed. Good for any beginning dancers, as well as experienced dancers who want to improve their basics or just come out and dance. There is a lot of dance time.
Couples friendly classes. You can dance just with your partner, if you like.
Singles friendly classes. No partner needed. We do rotate partners, for those that want.
Two classes for the price of one.

Schedule varies based on participants requests. Generally we do Advanced West Coast Swing or Lindy Swing each week and another dance that you find useful at dance socials.
Everyone is encouraged to come the whole time. Beginning dancers are welcome at the advanced sessions.
Advanced West Coast Swing focuses on quality of movement, solid basics, partner connection, musicality, styling and improvisation.
Classes are with a small group on Monday nights where you get personal attention to help you get better. Sessions are adjusted to the individual needs of those attending.
For beginners, sessions are aimed at building confidence so you are comfortable going to dances.
For all dancers, attention is directed at helping you improve by mastering the fundamental techniques.

Sun 12 Jun, 4-8 pm. LaQianya Huynh invites you all to "Fun In The Sun Swing and Sway" social dance at Macy's. This is a free, fun, and creative social dance for all ages. We will be swinging and swaing up stairs near the mall entrance. This event is perfect for seasoned dancers and people that want to learn to dance.
Come dressed to impress in your casual beach attire or what ever makes you comforable. The floor is tiled, if you do not have dance shoes bring comfortable shoes. Just dance, socialize, network and shop if you like.

Kristen Robinson is the reigning Miss Florida United States 2016. She is a recent graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Digital Broadcast News and Consumer Journalism and currently works as a business consultant for AT&T in Gainesville, FL.
In 2010, Kristen Robinson became the first African-American to be crowned Miss Georgia Teen USA (2011). At the University of Georgia she also held ...
