Senior Line Dancing with Andy 1 of 4

Thu 15 Sep, 12-1 pm. 12 to 12:30 Newcomers. 12:30 to 1:00 Regulars. Everyone is encouraged to come for the whole time. The first half-hour caters to newcomers and the second half-hour caters to the regulars. Have fun line dancing to a wide variety of music. Beginning Argentine Tango via SFC Community Ed with Andy 1 of 6

Thu 15 Sep, 6-7 pm. These classes cater to new dancers, that is those people who have never danced before. These are social dance classes. The focus is on having fun, while you learn to dance with a partner. You build your confidence in a non-judgmental atmosphere. No one tells anyone else what to do. Safety comes first. These are gentle classes. There is no pushing and no pulling. Everyone does their own dancing. No experienced needed. Good for any beginning dancers, as well as experienced dancers who want to improve their basics or just come out and dance. There is a lot of dance time. Couples friendly classes. You can dance just with your partner, if you like. Singles friendly classes. No partner needed. We do rotate partners, for those that want. Big Band Banquet Benefit for Wounded Warriors and First Responders

Sat 17 Sep, 6 pm. You are cordially invited to attend 10 CAN's 2nd Annual Banquet. The organization 10 CAN helps wounded warriors and first responders. The banquet helps them raise funds as well as recognize some of their most avid sponsors and supporters. The banquet is catered by Celebrations Catering, aka Cafe C, awesome food. Argentine Tango Seminar and Practica with Gerardo and Nico from Buenos Aires 1 of 4

Fri 23 Sep, 7-11 pm. Gerardo (Buenos Aires) and Nico (Buenos Aires, Gainesville) will be teaching Argentine Tango for a special four week seminar with beginners classes from 7 to 8, and intermediate classes from 8 to 9. We will focus on technique, the embrace, and steps for social dancing at the milonga. The class will be followed by a practica. $10 for 1 class, $15 if you come for both. $10 practica but it is included if you take a class. No partner necessary.
