In the Social Dancing class you will learn how to dance with a partner. You will learn some simple things to do in two or three dances you can use at social occasions. Dances will be determined by who attends. Dances may be Cha Cha, Foxtrot, Merengue, Nightclub Two Step, Rumba, Waltz.
These classes cater to new dancers, that is those people who have never danced before. These are social dance classes. The focus is on having fun, while you learn to dance with a partner. You build your confidence in a non-judgmental atmosphere. No one tells anyone else what to do.
Safety comes first. These are gentle classes. There is no pushing and no pulling. Everyone does their own dancing.
No experienced needed. Good for any beginning dancers, as well as experienced dancers who want to improve their basics or just come out and dance. There is a lot of dance time.

Thu 1 Dec, 6-9 pm. We are having an early End of the Year and Engagement Dance Party. Everyone is invited. We will be celebrating Jim and Kay's engagement, who met in our class. This will be our last Thursday in the big room, so this will be our end of the year party.
Thursday December 1
6 to 7 pm Argentine Tango.
7 to 8 pm Intro to Social Dancing Review Waltz.
8 to 9 pm or so Dance Mix Mostly Swing and Other Stuff.

Cost: $10 for the evening if you have not paid for the series.
Everyone is invited. No experience and no partner needed. If you come with a partner, you do not have to rotate if you do not want to.
We will hold our normal Beginning Argentine Tango class at 6 pm. At 7 pm, we will hold our Introduction to Social Dancing class. We will review Merengue, Slow Waltz and Country Waltz.
