Nia is a low-impact movement technique, inspired by dance, martial arts, and mindfulness practices. Nia is easily adaptable to all levels of fitness and experience. Nia creates a playful and powerful experience, boosting pleasure, strength, mobility, stability, and overall well-being. Small group classes are facilitated in a relaxed, welcoming, and non-judgmental atmosphere.

Nia trainings take me on a personal journey, through exploration of movement, music, and connection to community and to self. BodyMoves Connection is a collaboration between five experienced instructors of various body-mind movement practices. Our mission is to share the benefits and joy of different movement styles in a series of unique and affordable workshops, some energetic, some restorative.
